Always stretch thoroughly after working out to give your muscles the best chance to repair and grow properly. If you’re under the age of 40, hold each stretch for thirty seconds or more. However, if you are older than forty, you should try to maintain a stretch for about sixty seconds. This will work to prevent any injuries from happening after you have worked your muscles.
